This is a wonderful painting by the extraordinarily talented Edgar Degas, and it is a valuable piece that really brings light to the room in which it is placed. Painted at some point between the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. His work is respected by many artists and he remains a painter to admire and idolise years after his death.

This particular painting depicts a scene based around the twinned themes of dance and youth, and is a vibrant, engaging piece that draws the viewer into the world it creates.
